Calendar of Events for the 2007 Festival

As we approach the conclusion of the Festival it is important that we maximise on all activity – fund-raising, support, communication and, most importantly, enthusing the members of all Lodges and Chapters to recognise that, if we are to achieve a sum worthy of the Province, then this will not be achieved without effort and determination.Festival Events Co-ordination Committee

The role of the Committee is to:

1. Raise awareness of the charitable goals of the 2007 Grand Charity Festival and to promote the sales of Festival merchandise as appropriate.

2. Concentrate on money-raising events or schemes rather than on individual member giving.

3. Assist individuals, Lodges, Chapters or groups of lodges/chapters with fund-raising suggestions, methodology and timing, particularly if large events involve over-spill into other areas.

4. Gather and relay event intelligence to the Festival Events Co-ordination Committee. He will co-operate with the other Co-ordinators as appropriate to ensure a maximum opportunity outcome wherever possible.
